Seafair Weekend Festival / August 3rd-5th / Lake Washington, Genesee Park

One of the most iconic Seattle events, hydroplanes race on Lake Washington in the Albert Lee Appliance Cup and the Blue Angels fly overhead in the free Boeing Air Show. $25 - $150+

Bumbershoot / August 31st- September 2nd / Seattle Center

Celebrate the end of summer at Bumbershoot, a spectacular festival of music, film, comedy, and arts on Labor Day weekend in 13 venues at Seattle Center, including a main stage in Memorial Stadium. $130+

South Lake Union Block Party / Aug 10th / South Lake Union

South Lake Union Block Party has music, a children’s play area, steamroller printing, a beer garden, and food trucks at South Lake Union Discovery Center. Free


Panic At The Disco / August 12th / Moda Center

Catchy rockers in their prime, Panic! At The Disco play their favorites and will possibly sprinkle in a couple of catchy covers. $31+

8th Annual Soulful Giving Blanket Concert / August 4th / Yoshida's Garden View Estate

Soulful Giving Blanket Concert has live music, gourmet food, Oregon wine & beer, and vendors on 15 acres of meadows & forest near the Sandy River for age 21+. $50+

Crawfish Festival / August 3rd- 4th / Tualatin Community Park

Tualatin Crawfish Festival has food, beer, wine, and music over two fun days. On Saturday it adds races, vendors, carnival games, eating contests, a kids’ zone, and fireworks at 10 p.m. $5

Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival / August 10th-12th / Golden Gate Park

Outside Lands features an amazing lineup of 70 music artists including The Weeknd and Janet Jackson. $150+

Eat Drink SF / August 24th- 26th / Fort Mason Center

Eat Drink SF is a food, wine, and spirits festival that features 160 chefs, local restaurants, bars, distilleries, breweries, and wineries, with tastings, classes, demonstrations, and parties at Fort Mason Center. $129+

Cabfest / August 17th- 19th / Westfield San Francisco Center

Cabfest (not Crabfest) is a walk-around tasting of Cabernet Sauvignon for folks who love the red with 100 wineries, chefs, and guest speakers at Westfield San Francisco Centre. $50+

Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons /  August 3rd / Humphreys Concerts By The Bay

Iconic crooners Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons keep hitting the high notes as they perform their catalog of classics. $131

Gourmet Food Truck Festival / August 11th / Del Mar Thoroughbred Club

Enjoy a day at the races and a variety of some of the hottest eats in Southern California with 30-40 gourmet chefs serving their eclectic bests at super prices. Free with Racetrack Admission

Bike the Bay / August 26th / Embarcadero

Not only will the scenic 25-mile route travel through all five of these very diverse communities but it will also allow riders their only opportunity of the year to ride over the beautiful Coronado Bay Bridge. All riders will return to San Diego for a post-ride festival with food, beverage, beer garden and entertainment. $60+

Lollapalooza / August 2nd - 5th / Grant Park

One of the most iconic Chicago events is back! Lollapalooza is a four-day music festival with more than 100 popular alternative rock, punk rock, heavy metal, and hip hop bands; comedy and dance; and craft booths in Grant Park. $120+

Chicago Hot Dog Festival / August 10th - 12th / Chicago History Museum

This outdoor festival features live music, games, and hotdogs prepared in various regional and ethnic styles to celebrate Chicago’s love for the hot dog. $5 suggested donation

Chicago Air and Water Show / August 18th & 19th / North Avenue Beach

The Chicago Air & Water Show features daredevil pilots, parachute teams, and jets flying in formation, plus an air/sea rescue demonstration. See it from the waterfront near North Avenue Beach. Free


Annual Boston Seafood Festival / August 5th / Historic Boston Fish Pier

A Boston summer tradition - enjoy a day of sensational seafood, clambakes and chef demos, educational events, and family fun. $15
