CORE MEMORIES: GROWING AMELIA VISITS PINEAPPLE LAND

Our family travels to Seattle from Idaho two times a year for Amelia’s appointments at Seattle Children’s Hospital. We also take time to visit family. We prefer to stay close to the hospital and have tried other hotels, but nothing felt like the right fit for us.

We found Staypineapple’s Watertown hotel and decided to check it out. The Everything People at the front desk were so welcoming and graciously let us see an available room. The rest is history. We have enjoyed each of our stays so much! The staff is amazing, the rooms are relaxing, and the beds are comfy with the European-style duvets. The best part is that we feel like family when we stay at Watertown. Amelia adds, “I love Watertown! I love everything about it. It has this amazing vibe.”

Amelia is so passionate about Staypineapple that she requested to visit the corporate headquarters. We were delighted to hear that arrangements were made and her wish granted. On the day of her visit, Amelia sported her pineapple shirt and shoes. Pineapples are a favorite of hers, and she exclaims, “I love pineapples because they are sweet and super yummy to eat!”

When we arrived at Staypineapple, we walked off the elevator and were warmly greeted by the Staypineapple team. There was even a sign that said, “Welcome, Amelia.” The tour began with introductions of members from various departments. Amelia entered the conference room with the yellow swivel chairs and “held a meeting” with the leadership team. She wrote on the whiteboard where the next Staypineapple hotel locations should be and proclaimed what pineapple amenities they should have. Fuzzy, pineapple slippers, anyone?

A highlight of the tour was meeting Dash, the company’s Siberian Husky mascot. After greeting staff throughout the building, Amelia met with the marketing department. Amelia follows Staypineapple on social media and was ecstatic to help select photos with the social media manager for upcoming posts.

At the conclusion of the tour, the Staypineapple team gave us a special send-off. We couldn't have imagined a better experience for Amelia. Staypineapple exceeded anything we would have imagined. It was a dream come true for her. As we look forward to our next visit to Watertown, we say, “Stay happy, Staypineapple!”
