Sundays on State, named "Best New Event in 2021" (Time Out Chicago), one of "eight great spots [in Chicago] to hit while the weather is hot" (The New York Times), returns with an expanded footprint with portions of Chicago's most iconic street, State Street, closed to vehicular traffic for select Sundays this summer.

Neighbors from every Chicago community and beyond will participate in the interactive block party; enjoying art, culture, active recreation, food, drinks, shopping, and local attractions in the heart of everyone’s neighborhood – the Loop. Which just happens to be right outside the front door of Atwood restaurant and Staypineapple Chicago.

Join us at Atwood during Sundays on State for these special featured items:

• $12 Atwood Old Fashioned - a menu staple featuring our hand-picked exclusive Old Forester Single Barrel Bourbon with housemade pineapple bitters.

• $5 glasses of Casa Humilde Pinata - Hazy Pineapple IPA

• $5 pours of Chateau Ste. Michelle Rosé.

Atwood will be offering free pineapple lemonade with the purchase of an entree, and you can make that entree a local favorite by choosing The Maxwell Street Polish. A 1-pound kielbasa with yellow mustard, grilled onions and is served with fries for $19.

If you stop by between the hours of 12pm - 2pm each event day you’ll have a chance to try a sampling of some Old Forester - America's First Bottled Bourbon™. Including our own Staypineapple Old Forester Single Barrel Bourbon.

These offerings will be available between the hours of 11am-6pm on the days of the event.
