PARTNERING WITH PROCURE IMPACT TO EMPOWER WOMEN & VETERANS
At Staypineapple, we believe that hospitality goes beyond just providing a cozy bed and exceptional service. It’s about making a difference in the communities we serve and creating experiences that uplift not just our guests but also the lives of those around us. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our exciting new partnership with Procure Impact, a collaboration that will take our commitment to community support and intentional sourcing to the next level!
Procure Impact connects businesses with a marketplace filled with thousands of products made right here in the USA. This includes everything from grab-and-go snacks and bath products to unique art and VIP amenities. What makes this partnership truly special is that every vendor in the Procure Impact marketplace employs individuals who face barriers to work—people such as resettled refugees, veterans and those overcoming mental health challenges, poverty and more. By choosing to source our products through Procure Impact, we are not only supporting local businesses but also creating meaningful jobs that help vulnerable populations build brighter futures.
As part of our dedication to creating positive change, Staypineapple is proud to join the Dignity of Work Pledge, an initiative launched by Procure Impact and the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA). This pledge aims to create 100,000 hours of paid employment for overlooked populations, reinforcing our belief that hospitality can be a powerful force for good.
“Our commitment to the people around us is at the heart of everything we do,” says Dina Belon, President of Staypineapple. “We are dedicated to empowering women and veterans and offering opportunities that uplift and honor their unique contributions. Together, we are shaping an industry that not only welcomes the world but improves it.”
We are currently offering snack products at our hotels from a collection of businesses including Dog Tag Bakery, which equips veterans with tools to rediscover their purpose after serving our nation and re-enter their communities with confidence and support, and Women’s Bean Project, which hires women experiencing chronic unemployment to help break down the barriers they face.
Jen Collins, Co-Founder & President of Procure Impact, shares our excitement, stating, “By embracing responsible sourcing, Staypineapple is showing us that doing good can be just as bold and exciting as their brand. As a leader in sustainability and a growing boutique hotel brand, we are excited to partner with them to expand their impact through the products they procure.”
When you choose Staypineapple, you’re not just choosing a hotel—you’re joining a movement. Each time you stay with us and purchase a Procure Impact product, you contribute to our mission of empowering communities and creating positive change. Together, we can redefine what it means to be a part of the hospitality industry.
