February. The month of the Super Bowl, Valentines Day, and President’s Day (somehow the only official holiday of the bunch).

We won’t presume your feelings about Valentines Day, so fret not - our recommendations are open to couples, singles, and those somewhere in-between!

As always, many of our hotels our located serendipitously close to where many of these events are taking place, so don’t be afraid to Staypineapple while adding some fun to your February.

Swan Lake (Pacific Northwest Ballet / Feb 2-11)

Swan Lake is one of the most famous ballets conceived, and it’s coming to Seattle. Don’t miss the chance to show your significant other that you are, in fact, cultured. $35+

Sex With Strangers - Theater Show (12th Ave Arts / Feb 9 - March 11)

It doesn’t get more modern day romance than a blogger and a novelist lusting after each other while also trying to suppress their career ambitions. $15+

Asian American Film Festival (multiple venues / Feb 22-25)

The Asian American Film Festival features Asian American artists who create innovative media at Northwest Film Forum, telling stories personal to their lives and heritage. $12+

A pop favorite on the charts for the last decade, KP will assuredly dance and belt her way into Rose City hearts with a colorful, fun filled pop set. $35+

Hagg Lake Mud Run (Gaston, OR - Feb 17,18)

Looking to test out your late winter fitness? This extended run can be done in one day or two depending on your level of crazy, and is sure to provide a fix for both your exercise and outdoors bug. $75+

Psychodelic Stonerock Microfest (Crystal Ballroom, Feb 16-18)

SF Independent Film Festival (multiple venues / Feb 1-15)

Support your local independent filmmaker at this two week event. At best you’ll see an incredible film and at worst you’ll have more credibility at your Oscars party. $11+

Chinese New Year Parade (Chinatown, Feb 24)

Since the 1860’s, the Chinese community in San Francisco has been celebrating the lunar new year with a colorful parade to highlight and educate San Franciscans on their culture. Check it out! Free

Been eyeing that oxtail plate but waiting for the perfect moment? It has arrived. Chicago restaurant will be in full swing at the start of February, giving you over 370 places to choose from!
