Fourth of July - Seattle - July 4, 2019
Seafair Summer Fourth has family activities, food and beverages, entertainment, and fireworks at 10:20 p.m. at Gas Works Park. Free but get there early.
Bite of Seattle - July 19 - 21, 2019
Buy tastes from 60 restaurants at Bite of Seattle, which has cooking demos, beer & spirits garden, and entertainment at Seattle Center. Friday is least crowded. The Alley on Fisher rooftop has a $20 package of 6 gourmet tastes to support charity. Craft beer & cider tasting is $25. Combine both for $36.
Tasting event at Seattle Center - July 25, 2019 (7 to 10 p.m.)
Red, White & Brew promises “tastings from more than 60 award-winning wineries and breweries” and bites from restaurants and food trucks, with music at the Fisher Pavilion at Seattle Center (right next to The Maxwell Hotel). For ages 21+.

Blues festival - July 4 - 7, 2019
Waterfront Blues Festival features 80 performers on multiple stages, with fireworks on July 4 (10 p.m.) at Hotel Rose’s neighbor, Tom McCall Waterfront Park!
Block party - July 10, 2019
Sponsored by Willamette Week, Best of Portland Block Party is an all-ages event with food carts, a bar, and local vendors on NW Quimby Street. Free admission.
Oregon Brewers Festival - July 24 - 27, 2019
Try 80 different craft beers (with cider & wine), eat pub food, and hear live music at Oregon Brewers Festival at Tom McCall Waterfront Park. Children require parents and will enjoy the soda garden. The opening brunch and parade are July 24. No pets.
San Francisco
Fourth of July - S.F. - July 4, 2019 (9:30 p.m.)
The city’s Fourth of July Celebration includes setting off 10,000 fireworks for 20 minutes from barges near Aquatic Park and Pier 39. Free.
Wine tasting - July 19, 2019
Taste 100 wines at Uncorked: SF Wine Festival, which also features artisanal food vendors and live music in the Festival Pavilion at Fort Mason for age 21+.
Beer festival - July 20, 2019 (noon & 5:30 p.m.)
Join the crowd age 21+ at Bay Area Brew Fest for unlimited samples of 200 varieties of beer, live music, and food trucks at Fort Mason Center.

Big Bay Boom! - July 4, 2019
The Largest Fireworks Show in San Diego County. The Big Bay Boom July 4th Fireworks Show is back, promising another spectacular display over San Diego Bay. Fireworks will be discharged simultaneously from barges placed strategically around the Bay off Shelter Island, Harbor Island, Embarcadero North, Seaport Village, Embarcadero South Marina Park and Coronado Ferry Landing. The impeccably choreographed display will last approximately 17 minutes.
