SEATTLE

Seattle’s public market is one of the country’s oldest farmers markets. Encompassing nine acres from Pike St. north to Virginia St. and from 1st Ave west to Western Ave, the Market’s historic arcade, winding alleys, stairways and lower levels offer a multisensory experience of sights, sounds, tastes, aromas and textures.
A small public park and viewpoint on the south slope of Queen Anne Hill in Seattle. It overlooks Downtown Seattle and is located along West Highland Drive between 2nd Avenue West and 3rd Avenue West. The park's view is considered to be the most iconic views of the city skyline, with the Space Needle prominent at the center, Elliott Bay to the west, and Mount Rainier in the background.
This rail-to-trail pathway stretches almost 19 miles from end to end, and its flat and paved surface is inviting to walkers, joggers, runners, cyclists, and pretty much anyone else on feet or wheels. The trail connects lots of neighborhoods and landmarks throughout Seattle.
Along the shores of Lake Union in the heart of Seattle, Gas Works Park features the typical array of joggers, bikers, and even the occasional sunbather. Its 20 acres of idyllic grassy hills and towering evergreens includes a play structure and plenty of picnic tables. But it’s also home to something unique: an assortment of giant metal structures.
